This setion will having a timeline detailing the changes and the domain moves of "Iceman's Hockey Rules Page" - which will, as off April, 2000, be know simply as "Hockey Rules."



1996
March 20th
* Idea of Iceman's Hockey Rules Page is born - due to a serious lack of information available on the internet on the rules of hockey.
March 26th
* Work on Iceman's Hockey Rules Page is begun.
April 11th
* Birthdate: Hockey Rule goes online.
April 15th
* Rule Breaker section Added.
April 23rd
* Officiating Personnel section added.
May 21st
* Officiating Personnel section added.
May 29th
* Official signals is extended to include 16.
May 31st
* Added the first Web Counter.
November 8th
* Applied for links at Infoseek, Lycos, Altavista, and Yahoo.
November 13th
* 96- 97 Officiating Personnel added.
November 14th
* First Day with the new look (revision 2.0).
November 20th
* Added Three Main Rules and New Rule Adoption sections.
* New VirtuRink preview section added.
1997
September 25th
* Added the 96/97 Rulebook section.
October 6th
* Added VRML version of Virturink.

1998

1999
July, 11th
* Registered icehockeyrules.8m.com with Freeservers with intentions to someday move the entire site away from Alachua FreeNet due to reliabily and space issues with their system.
2000
March 11th
* Alachua FreeNet once again deleted most of the files from my account - cripling Iceman's Hockey Rules Page.
April 17th
* Setup forwards from the old location and began reconstruction the site here, at it's new home.
* I also decided that after 4 years, it was time for a fresh look, and began changing the pages on the site to reflect a more contemporary web design.
* Changed the website's name from a rather lengthy "Iceman's Hockey Rules Page," which refered to a handle that I don't even use anymore, to simply "Hockey Rules."
* Put up this message to explain the current state of the website.
April 18th
* Put the "Three Main Rules" section back online - making this the first page to be served by the new domain.
* Started working on, and put parts of, the "Official Signals" section back online.
April 19th
* Finished the "Official Signals" section, this included finally finishing: Spearing, Slow Whistle, Unsportsmanlike, and Wash-out - which was the first new content in over 2 years.
* Removed dead links as a temporary measure, until I can get each section up and running at the new domain.
* Finished putting the "'96 - '97 Season New Rule Adoptions" section back online.
April 20th
* Tweaked new layout to display correctly on resolutions of 800x600 and up.
* Changed the "Officiating Personnel" section to the new format, and put it back online.
* Put the "Timeline" section back up - I will fill in the rest when I am able to find the backup of the old "Timeline" seciton.
* Added a discussion forum hosted by EZBoard.
April 21th
* Revamped the Virturink Section and moved it to the new server.
* Revamped and added 'Rule Breakers' - everything is now at least partially online!
April 26th
* Revamped and moved the Rulebook section to the new server - now the entire site has been remodeled and moved to the new server!
April 29th
* Added some more information to the timeline - for the 1996 and 1997 years.
