April 17th * Setup forwards from the old location and began reconstruction the site here, at it's new home. * I also decided that after 4 years, it was time for a fresh look, and began changing the pages on the site to reflect a more contemporary web design. * Changed the website's name from a rather lengthy "Iceman's Hockey Rules Page," which refered to a handle that I don't even use anymore, to simply "Hockey Rules." * Put up this message to explain the current state of the website. April 18th * Put the "Three Main Rules" section back online - making this the first page to be served by the new domain. * Started working on, and put parts of, the "Official Signals" section back online. April 19th * Finished the "Official Signals" section, this included finally finishing: Spearing, Slow Whistle, Unsportsmanlike, and Wash-out - which was the first new content in over 2 years. * Removed dead links as a temporary measure, until I can get each section up and running at the new domain. * Finished putting the "'96 - '97 Season New Rule Adoptions" section back online. April 20th * Tweaked new layout to display correctly on resolutions of 800x600 and up. * Changed the "Officiating Personnel" section to the new format, and put it back online. * Put the "Timeline" section back up - I will fill in the rest when I am able to find the backup of the old "Timeline" seciton. * Added a discussion forum hosted by EZBoard. April 21th * Revamped the Virturink Section and moved it to the new server. * Revamped and added 'Rule Breakers' - everything is now at least partially online! April 26th * Revamped and moved the Rulebook section to the new server - now the entire site has been remodeled and moved to the new server! April 29th * Added some more information to the timeline - for the 1996 and 1997 years. |
